"A few months ago, whilst walking down some stairs in a community centre, I heard a loud twanging sound emanating from the inside my left leg! The pain was beyond description and I found that I could not walk. It seemed highly unlikely that I would be able to take part in an all day workshop that was just about to start. It seemed equally doubtful that I would be able to drive the 12 miles home or to the local A&E department for treatment. I later discovered that I had snapped my Gastrocnemius tendon.

I had been suffering with jaw problems for a couple of years, I was unable to eat without pain, even yawning was agony, nothing seemed to help. My dentist diagnosed TMJ and refused to treat me until I had been seen by a Maxio Facial surgeon.
