SCENAR

What is SCENAR?

“ Scenar will completely change the face of medicine in the next 20 years… “

Dr Keith Scott Mumby

What conditions can Scenar treat?

In the UK, the devices are licensed by the British Standards Institute for pain relief only. However, because of the nature of the device, viz stimulating the nervous system, the Russian experience is that Scenar affects the whole body system. The Russian experience suggests that it can be effective for a very broad range of diseases, including diseases of the digestive, cardio-vascular, respiratory, musculo-skeletal, urinary, reproductive and nervous system. It is also useful for managing ENT diseases, eye diseases, skin conditions and dental problems. It has also been found beneficial in burns, fractures, insect bites, allergic reactions, diseases of the blood and disorders involving immune mechanisms; endocrine, nutritional and metabolic disorders; stress and mental depression, etc. It is known to give rapid relief from many types of pain.

What does it feel like?

As the device is moved over the surface of the skin a comfortable tingling sensation is felt. In cases of severe pain or acute conditions the sensations may be stronger.

How does Scenar work on a disease?

Patients having Scenar treatment need to take responsibility for their health and are advised to actively participate in the treatment and recovery process. The chemical compounds, released by the nerves, affect not only the problem areas, but they also circulate in the blood treating other areas of the body. This goes some way to explaining how old and often forgotten problems are brought to the surface for treatment.

"A Russian invention to keep astronauts in peak condition could be the latest and most revolutionary weapon of the alternative health industry"

                                                                                  DAILY MAIL, NOVEMBER 1999

The Scenar (Self-Controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulator) pioneering device was invented by Russian scientists for use in the Space Programme by cosmonauts. It was developed by a team of top Soviet scientists, two of whom went on to receive the Order of Lenin - Russia's equivalent of the Nobel Prize.

The head scientist, Professor Revenko claimed there were very few illnesses the Scenar could not treat and often cure. Scenar therapy is a holistic form of treatment, which stimulates the nervous system and teaches it to heal itself. Electrical impulses, the parameters of which are similar to the nerve impulses within the body, are transmitted through the skin to the nervous system. Fast-reacting informational biofeedback means that each impulse is different from the previous. Scenar action influences adaptive processes of the organism and helps to harmonise them. In response to Scenar impulses the Nervous System releases neuropeptides (healing hormones), which are released into the bloodstream and are broken down into many compounds, which are themselves, bio-active. As a result, homeostasis is gradually and gently restored.

"IT'S ONLY A LITTLE BLACK BOX, BUT IT MAY TURN OUT TO BE A MEDICAL MIRACLE" The Scotsman

Jackie Mcglone, January 26, 2000

"IT LOOKS like something out of Star Trek, and Indeed, the latest weapon in the war to keep us healthy was developed by Russian scientists to ensure that cosmonauts stayed fighting fit as they floated in the stratosphere. A little black box of tricks that looks exactly like a TV remote control: run it over the body, and the device's electrical currents are said to stimulate the body to repair itself. It sounds too good to be true. Yet in Russia the Scenar (Self-controlled Energo Neuro Adaptive Regulation) won its inventors the prestigious Order of Lenin - the equivalent of the Nobel Prize - after the KGB instigated its development. The Russians claim more than 50,000 cases of successful treatment. They speak of "miracle cures" for a multitude of ailments, and cite cases of lame patients throwing away their crutches, the overnight disappearance of an ovarian cyst the size of a grapefruit, and the repair of blood vessels in the foot of a man facing amputation. Be that as it may -and in the lack of empirical evidence we should probably take such occurrences with a pinch of salt - Scenar has done enough to attract attention from conventional doctors in this country. In 1998 a team of Russian medics came to Britain to demonstrate Scenar. Following that, around 100 therapists are now using it here. They include hospital nurses in England, who are using it in 12 clinical trials to assess its potency in treating a range of complaints from back pain to ovarian cysts. James Colthurst, a surgeon and qualified homeopath who was also the late Princess Diana's confidant and allegedly the go-between her and the author Andrew Morton, was among the first to use the invention in this country. Its approval by the medical authorities here, however, is as a pain relief agent - and this is the only official medical claim that is being made for it."
